The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the biggest bridges in the world - it is 503 meters long and 130 meters high. Locals call it a "hanger" because of its form.
There is an estimated fee for crossing the bridge by car, but it is allowed to walk and cycle on it. Pyrotechnic shows and fireworks are held here during the holidays.
Since 1998 the BridgeClimb Sydney company arranges excursions on the bridge. Children from 10 to 15 years old should be accompanied by an adult (at least one adult for 3 children). Kids under 10 and lower than 120 sm, pregnant women and persons with medical contraindications are not allowed to join an excursion.
