The Children’s Railroad in Minsk and Children’s Railway Training Centre, Republic of Belarus 2 061

The Belarusian Mini Railway (the so-called Children's Railroad) is located in the centre of Minsk. Its length is 4.5 km. Passengers take the train from the Zaslonovo Station near the Chelyuskin Park, and get off at the Sosnovy Bor station. The Children’s Railway in Minsk works from May to October, and kids from the Children’s Railway Training Centre receive their work experience here.
Children’s Railway Training Centre is located at 9, Frunze street. Schoolchildren from 5th to 7th grade can attend the ‘Young Railroadman’ training, taking classes once a week from October to April. There are also design classes available, where kids make models or trains.
