The Pafos Zoo is located in Paphos suburb (Pegeia district where one can get to by bus form Paphos, Polis, Limassol and Latchi).
The zoo began as a private birds collection. It opened to the public in 2003.
Today about 1200 animals and 210 bird species live at the zoo.
Shows with parrots and owls are held here daily. There is a kid's playground and several cafes on the territory of the zoo.
