The Paphos Fort is located at the Paphos harbour. It is a small fortress built in the 13th century to protect the city from attacks during the Frankish occupation. In the 16th century the fortress was destroyed and then rebuilt by Turks in the end of the 18th century. This is the fortress we see today.
Visitors can get to the roof and enjoy the view of the harbour.
The Paphos Aphrodite Festival is held at the fortress every year.
Tourists can buy tickets at the entrance.
