The Vordinborg Castle is located in the town of the same name. It was built in the XIV century.
Today, most of the castle is in ruins, the only part that has been preserved entirely is the 26-meter-high Goose Tower, which is a symbol of the city. Excavations of the castle ruins are currently in progress.
Near the castle there is a botanical garden and a museum, which is planned to house a large exposition dedicated to the Danish castles.
