The Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park is one of the largest national parks in Europe. It is located in the central part of Georgia, occupying about 85 000 hectares of land between the towns of Borjomi and Kharagauli.
The park's nature is diverse: there are mountain forests and alpine meadows, rivers and waterfalls. The park is a home to many species of rare plants and animals. There are equipped hiking trails of various lengths, offering hiking trips up to a few days long. There are campsites and cottages, picnic and campfire areas. It is possible to ride a horse in the park, or hire a bicycle.
Entrance to the park is free, but first-time tourists need to register at the tourist center, located to the South of Borjomi. The center's staff can help tourists arrange trips, select trails, book accommodation, etc.
