The Museum of Colchis or Kolkheti Culture in Poti holds a collection of archaeological and ethnographic artifacts connected with the history of the ancient city of Phasis, which was located on the site of Poti. There are both items from the 3rd millennium BC and the 16th century AD, including some golden coins of famous rulers from different epochs: Alexander the Great, the Byzantine Emperor Justinian, the Russian Empress Elizaveta, and others, as well as objects of antique ceramics.
