The State Museum of Georgian Folk Songs and Musical Instruments is situated in downtown Tbilisi, near the Narikala Fortress. The museum houses collections of Georgian and South Caucasian authentic musical instruments, as well as European classical instruments, manuscript notes of Georgian folk music, gramophone records of Georgian folk songs and so called Oriental songs of the beginning of the XX century.

There is a large audio-collection of Georgian polyphonic singing.
