The State Silk Museum is located near the Dynamo stadium and the Tbilisi Railway Station (the Sadguris Moedani Metro station). It is temporarily closed.
There is a variety of silk cocoons, "good" and "bad" ones, models of houses for silkworms and, of course, silkworms themselves. From April to June visitors of the museum can even feed silkworms with the leaves of mulberry.
On a tour, visitors can learn many interesting facts about breeding silkworms. Silk cocoons are sold here as unusual souvenirs.
