Models of of locomotives and railway cars, real wheels and documentation, 20 retro automobiles, motorcycles and other items related to transportation in Hungary are exhibited at the museum. Visitors can learn the history of sailing in Hungary shown in models and explore the road traffic exposition.
Temporary exhibitions are also held at the museum. Admission is free for children under 6. 50% discount is offered for visitors from 6 to 26 years old.
The museum is currently closed for renovation (August 2017). Exhibitions are opened to the public in some other museums of Budapest (current shedule is available on the official web-site of the Transportation museum).
