The Latvian Nature Museum is located in the centre of Riga.
Botanical and geological collections, stuffed birds and monkeys, sea shells and fossils found on the territory of Latvia and neighboring countries, are presented at the museum.
At the entrance visitors can get an audioguide in Latvian, Russian and English languages.
Every day in half an hour before the closing admission is free. It is free also in Thursdays since 17:00 until 19:00.

Photos of the Nature Museum in Riga, located at K. Barona iela 4. The Natural History Museum was founded in 1845. The collection consists of six departments: Zoological, Anthropological, Geological, Botanical, Paleontological, Natural science department. There is also a photo lab and a studio in the museum, exhibitions, competitions, classes, workshops and excursions for children are held. The museum is interactive.
