The National Museum of Lithuania is the oldest museum in the country. Archaeological finds from different ages, ethnic culture objects such as domestic appliances, furniture, clothes etc, historical documents and photographs, coins, icons, Kazys Varnelis Collection and other objects are exhibited at the museum.
The collections are exposed in different buildings: The New Arsenal (Arsenalo g. 1), The Old Arsenal (Arsenalo g. 3) and others. There is also a viewing platform at the The Bastion of the Vilnius Defensive Wall (Boksto Str. 20/18).
