Photo of the Deinotherium in Koktebel, Crimea. Koktebel is one of those places you always want to return to. The best time for coming here with kids is May, June and the very beginning of July, when there is not so many people here, but the sea is already warm. It it better to travel by car and have the possibility to visit nearby places of interest and bays.

The Deinotherium is a private palaeontological exposition which includes a very rare proboscidean called dinothere and an ornithological birds collection. It takes 30 minutes to walk around the museum. Children are likely to be very happy to interact with birds.
