Vikingaliv is based on historical facts combined with the most recent findings of Viking history. The exhibition is interactive, facts are presented in an educational and playful way. Vikingaliv treats visitors to illusions, fantasies and exciting tales.

The Vikingaliv visitors can see what the Viking Period might have been like, learn about the role of children and woman, how the people lived, what they cultivated and ate and how they travelled.

Visitors are also invited to take the viking ride - Ragnfrid's saga. Ragnfrid's saga is an 11-minute long Viking ride, which sheds light on parts of real Viking history. The museum targets audience of kids aged 7 and older as well as adults.
