The museum is located in the industrial area of Goteborg, near Arendal area on Hisingen island, about 10 kilometers west of the center.
The museum (6000 sq.m.) collected 85-year history of Volvo since 1927. In addition to cars, trucks and buses, museum stores samples of air and water-motor units - here is the engine for the tank, visitors also can see the gas turbine engines and aircraft, produced for aerospace forces of the country, and there are also tractors and other heavy machinery too in the museum.
