The Carowinds Amusement Park is located on the border of the states of South and North Carolina in Charlotte. The park's territory is divided into 8 theme zones: for example, there is the Thrill Zone with extreme attractions, and the Camp Snoopy area for children. The "Extreme" part includes one of the highest rides in America - The Fury 325: it can raise visitors to 100 meters at a speed of 150 km per hour.
The Carolina Harbor water park is also part of the complex, and access to it is included in the price of admission to Carowinds. Tickets for the Palladium outdoor amphitheater and its events must be purchased separately.
There are many cafes and restaurants in the park, many offering menus. Tickets can be bought at the park's official website.
