Everglades National Park is located in the Everglades marshlands of Southern Florida. The park is a total of 6,105 square kilometers (2357 square miles or 1,508,538 acres). The park is included on the UNESCO list.

 Within the park are several trails for driving and for hiking. The most well-known of these trails is Anhinga Trail, from which wild birds and alligators can be seen from a short distance. This park is the only place which provides a habitat for both crocodiles and alligators.
