The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the biggest art museums in the world. A huge collection of archaeological and historical objects and art works is exhibited here. There is an Asian hall, an exhibition dedicated to the art of Africa, Oceania and America and a collection of artifacts from the Ancient East in the museum.
One of the exhibitions is dedicated to armours and arms. Excursions and cultural events for children and adults are held at the museum.
