On Sunday, April 22, from 7:00 until 20:00 - the EarthFest 2018 takes place at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. The day will start with yoga in the Cullman Hall of the Universe, and move on to a performance of composer John Luther Adams’ Pulitzer Prize- and Grammy Award-winning piece Become Ocean by the Chelsea Symphony Orchestra to a large-scale dance by the inventive Pilobolus troupe, using lighted umbrellas under the blue whale in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life. Visitors will be immersed throughout the Museum in art, science, and culture at this festival honoring Earth Day.

Renowned artists and scholars join Museum scientists in special tours, vibrant performances, and critical conversations focused on sustaining the beautiful planet we call home. The event is free with Museum admission or for Members.

Photos from the American Museum of Natural History, NY, USA (15)

This album contains photos of the the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and it is unlike an ordinary museum. This museum is very kids-friendly and attractive. In the Mammal Hall, we were sure that the animals are going to come alive and leave their spots. At the entrance to the museum visitors can see a giant piece of a meteorite, which feels like iron by touch. Huge dinosaurs' skeletons are exhibited on the last floor of the museum.
