The North Ostrobothnia museum is located in the Ainola park in the centre of Oulu.
The permanent exposition is dedicated to Oulu history, nature and culture. There is the Koiramyaki exhibition based on Mauri Kunnas fairy tales. Temporary exhibitions are held at the museum several times during the year.
