Christmas lights in Helsinki, winter 2016-2017, Finland

In winter 2016-2017, in addition to the traditional Christmas street at Aleksanterinkatu in Helsinki, festive decorations will appear on Mannerheimintie street, the main street of the capital of Finland. Christmas lights will delight residents and visitors of Helsinki starting 20 November 2016 to the end of January 2017.

Grand opening of the Christmas street will take place on November 20 at 14:00 on the Senate Square. The Goodwill Fair will take place there as well, visitors will be able to buy traditional Christmas treats, pastries and mulled wine. The festive Christmas parade will take off right after the light will come on. The parade pass through the center of the city: the streets Aleksanterinkatu, Mannerheimintie and Pohjoisesplanadi.
