"Lookout, All Aboard!", the interactive Play Zone by ASM-Art Children's Theater (SPb), at the Kids-Friendly Finland 2017 festival @ Sirius Sport Resort
The "Lookout, All Aboard!" interactive Play Zone run by the ASM-Art Children's Theater (from St. Petersburg, Russia) at the Kids-Friendly Finland 2017 festival will be devoted to sea voyages from the port of Kotka to the port of St. Petersburg and back. Participating children will become a ship crew and create their own navigation map along the route "Finland-Russia". The festival will be held on May 27, 2017, from 10:00 to 17:00. Participation is free for all.
At the "Lookout, All Aboard!" Play Zone, kids will be identified as crew members and together they will undergo a series of tests under the guidance of "experienced sailors" - learn rigging (knitting knots), learn the semaphore alphabet, communicate with each other in the language of signal flags and dance a dance in the spirit of real sea dogs.
The Kids-Friendly Finland 2017 Festival is organized in the format of a quest: children of all ages visit about 20 Play Zones from Start to Finish, completing fun tasks and gaining new knowledge along the way. In the end, all kids get a guaranteed prizes - a bright silicon bracelet and a helium balloon. It is possible to join the game at any time during the day, passing all the game zones takes about 1.5 hours. The festival is part of the program Suomi Finland 100 (celebrating the centenary of independence of Finland). Official languages: English, Finnish and Russian.
The Sirius sports complex in Pyhtää is an hour's drive from Helsinki. Sirius has a cafe, a Flowrider, a rope park, a mini golf, a wind tunnel, free WiFi and parking.
