The museum is housed in the Tampere Police Graduate School and is dedicated to the history and current status in the Finnish police force. The museum has more than 9000 exhibits - uniforms, weapons, equipment, vehicles, photos and so on. The Children's Police Station interactive exhibition is a place where kids can try on police outfits, play-drive a police vehicle, and do other police work.

Entrance to the museum is free for all, excursions are possible (in Finnish) for an additional fee.
