The Bondi Beach is located 7 kilometers East from Sydney's CBD. The beach area is 122 hectares, it attracts both surfers and ordinary tourists (they usually rest on the northern half of the beach).
There is a pavilion with a changing area, a cold shower (free) and locker cells for storage (for a fee). In addition, the beach has a seawater pool.
The beach is protected by underwater nets, and professional lifeguards are on duty every day.
