The National Library of Belarus is located in the North-Western part of Minsk. Only Belarusian citizens aged 16 and up can sign up to use the library. For them, the library offers its book funds and reading halls, together with a sports & recreation complex and a children’s playroom with paid childcare services (available for kids from 3 to 10 years old).
For visitors, tours around the Minsk Library and the Book Museum are offered (in Belarusian, Russian, or English). Visitors have access to the observation deck as part of the tour. Prior registration is required (via phone or e-mail). Children’s birthdays parties can also be organized at the library.
The Megapolis restaurant is located on the library’s ground floor. It has a big hall with 150 seats and several banquet rooms for 10-15 persons. A glassed observation deck and the Graf Café coffee bar are located on the 22nd floor of the library. A 73-metre-high open observation deck with panoramic binocular glasses is open on the 23rd floor.
The observation deck working hours: daily, from 12:00 to 23:00 (entrance open until 22:30). Every month's last Monday the deck is closed.
