The Minsk Zoo is located in the South-East of the city, on the shore of the Svisloch river. About 400 species of animals and birds live at the zoo, more than 100 of them are in the list of endangered species. The zoo has an aquarium, a terrarium and a mini exotarium, there are also the ‘Animal Planet’ and the ‘Horses & Ponies’ sections. In the Petting Zoo, guests can feed and pet goats, sheep and chickens.
Tours and excursions can be booked in the Education Centre. The zoo has a café and a children’s playground, in the summer, there are also rides and other attractions available.
