The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel (formerly known as the Banff Springs Hotel) is located inside the Banff National Park. The hotel's building is designed as a castle. It originally opened in 1888 and is considered to be a historical monument.
The hotel has 11 restaurants, 14 shops, the Willow Stream Spa, a 32-meter swimming pool and a 20-meter heated outdoor pool, as well as a bowling alley, tennis court and a golf course.
Cross-country skiing trails can be found next to the hotel. Shuttle service is available to the nearest ski resorts: Mount Norquay and Sunshine Village. The hotel offers sports equipment for rent and operates a ski school.

Natalie and Dmitry visited Lake Luise in Banff National Park, stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, and rode the Carode Whistler Peak 2 Peak 360 Experience cable car and the Rocky Mountaneer tourist train.
