The Christiansborg Palace is located in the old part of Copenhagen. The building houses three branches of government: the Parliament, the Ministry of State, and the Supreme Court.
In addition, the castle is a museum. The Royal Reception Rooms and The Royal Kitchen, The Theater Museum and The Palace Chapel are open to public. Visitors can also see a collection of old wool tapestries.
Children with parents can download the free Stop the Thief in Christiansborg game (in English) and play at the museum. More info: http://www.kongeligeslotte.dk/en/palaces-and-gardens/christiansborg-palace/whats-on-in-christiansborg-palace/the-museum-mystery.html
