The Experimentarium interactive museum of science opened in 1991 in the north Copenhagen.
There are more than 300 exhibits in the permanent expostions of the museum; all the exibites can be touched and used for science experiments. There are theme exhibitions such as Circus Physicus, Energy, Perception Gallery, Mathematics, Look At the Light, Now Listen, Our Moving Earth, Soap Bubbles, You and Me and a Children pavillion (for children from 3 to 6 years old) in the museum.
During school holidays temporary exhibitions and programmes for kids are held at the Experimentarium.
