The Louisiana Modern Art Museum is world-renowned for its combination of art, architecture and nature and located by the Sea in Humlebæk (35 kilometers to the north from Copenhagen).

The museum is famous for its large-scale exhibitions and boasts an impressive collection of works by artists and sculptures from the 20th and 21st centuries. A variety of activities and music events are also held here. The museum is surrounded by the Sculpture Park with a panoramic view of the Sea.

Louisiana has a three-storey Children’s Wing with a number of daily workshops that often take their starting point in the temporary exhibitions. Here kids and their parents can make art together. Special programs for kids are held at the museum during the school holidays. The Children’s Wing is open since Tuesday until Sunday since 11:00 until 18:00 (workshops are closed at 17:30).
