The Natural History Museum of Denmark is located near Nørreport Station, in the heart of Copenhagen. Visitors can start their museum experience by taking a stroll through the Botanical Garden and end the day with a visit to the museum. The museum's collections consists of thousands of minerals, stones and subsurface rocks, as well as meteorites, fossils and dinosaur bones.
Visitors are also invited to discover the Zoological Museum at Østerbro in Copenhagen. The Natural History Museum of Denmark, the Botanical Garden and the Zoological Museum all have souvenir shops.
