The Tivoli Gardens opened in 1843 and is located in the centre of Copenhagen.
Modern and old attractions - merry-go-rounds, roller-coasters, a "free fall" and teeter-totters for kids - are available for the visitors.
There are venues in the park where concerts, performances and plays for kids take place daily. On weekends themed entertainent programmes are often held at the park. Also the Tivoli Festival of classical music is held here every summer.
The Nimb Hotel is located in the park, as the Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center is a ten minutes walk from the Tivoli’s grounds. Also there are more than 10 hotels next to the park. Visitors can dine in one of 30+ cafes and restaurants including the Wagamama and NIMB restaurants.
