Voergaard Castle is a Renaissance manor house, located in 10 km from Dronninglund in the North-West of Denmark. There are many legends about ghosts who live in this castle: some believe that visitors might meet them here.
In addition, Voergaard Castle houses one of the largest private collections of art in Denmark, which belonged to the last owner of the estate - Count E. Oberbech-Clausen. The interior of the castle is remained as it was when the Count lived here (in the XX century): with a collection of furniture, porcelain, silver, personal belongings of the French emperors, as well as paintings, including some works by Rubens, Raphael, Goya and El Greco.
