The Bois de Vincennes is the biggest forestland in Paris located in the east of the city, at the 12th arrondissement.
The Vincennes zoo, the Vincennes castle and fort, the Parc floral de Paris botanical garden, a tropical garden, four lakes, a cycling ground, a hippodrome and the Buddhist temple with the biggest statue of Buddha are located on the territory of the forest.
