The Disneyland adventure park in Europe opened on the 12th of April 1992 next to Paris. It includes 2 parks with 54 attractions.
There are 5 theme zones at the park:
- The Adventureland with a pirate's ship, the Adventure island and a Danger Temple;
- The Frontierland with the Big Thunder Mountain roller-coaster, a ghost house and boats from a western;
- The Main Street USA designed as an American city, where festive event with fireworks are held;
- The Discoveryland with roller-coasters, carting, and a merry-go-round;
- The Fantasyland with a Sleeping Beauty's39;s Castle, a dragon's cave, a funicular and boats.
In 2012 the Walt Disney Studios Park, where visitors can ride attractions and see the backstage of the film-making, opened at the Disneyland.
There are shops, restaurants, cinemas and other entertainment at the Disney Village park.
