The Jardin du Luxembourg garden is located at the Latin district (the 6th arrondissement of Paris).
There is the Luxembourg Palace, the museum and the greenhouse here. A lot of sculptures and fountains, including the famous Medici Fountain built in 1630 can be found at the garden. The landscape of the park is designed in English and French styles.
Attractions for kids are located in the south-east part of the garden, There is an old merry-go-round, a puppet theatre, a children's playground, tennis courts and other sports facilities here. Visitors can also ride a horse, play chess or bridge at the garden.
Festivals, exhibitions and open-air concerts are regularly held here.
