The Eiffel Tower opened during the 1889 World's Fair in Paris. It is located on the Champ de Mars.
The height of the tower is 324 meters. The observation deck is located on the height of 276 meters.
Information decks, a post office, a buffet and the original hydraulic mechanism museum are located at the base of the east and west legs of the tower.
The 2 level of the tower (57 meters above the ground) houses the Eiffel Tower Epic historical exhibition, the Cineiffel cinema hall, an exhibition of art inspired by the tower, the Gustave Eiffel's conference hall, a stairwell of historical spiral stairs, an observation deck, a gift shop, a buffet and the 58 tour Eiffel restaurant.
There are multimedia boards telling the history of the tower, gift shops, the Le Jules Verne restaurant and a buffet on the 3rd level with transparent floor (about 116 meters above the ground).
The last level (276 meters) is where the Gustave Eiffel's Working Room exhibition, boards with information about other countries, a maquette of the top of the tower, a height meter and a bar are located.
Admission is free for children under 4.
