The Louvre Museum is housed in the Louvre Palace, on the Right Bank of the Seine in the 1st arrondissement of Paris.
The collection includes art objects from the ancient Greece and Rome, Ancient East, Islamic culture, as well as sculptures, paintings and graphic arts.
The main entrance to the museum is designed as a glass pyramid. There is a media library, a book shop, 13 cafes and restaurants on the territory of the museum.
Children and adults can attend workshops and learn to paint and make sculptures and join family excursions.
Admission is free for children under 18.
