Traboules in Lyon are pedestrian passages through houses, which may go through 4-5 buildings. There are a total of about 500 such traboules in Lyon with this one being the longest and the most popular of them all. It starts with the house №54 on the Rue Saint-Jean, and comes out of house №27 on the Bouf street.
To find the entrance into this traboule, visitors have to look for the green door of house №54, which has a brass name plate reading "la longue traboule".
It is possible to enter the traboule every day from 7:00 to 19:00.
