The Palace of Versailles is a royal palace and gardens located 20 kilometers from Paris. The palace was built by Louis XIII in the XVII century and enlarged later by Louis XIV. Today the palace complex functions as a museum, the building itself is the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The gardens of Versailles include beautiful terraces, sculptures, fountains, flowerbeds, different pavilions and other design objects.
