Bakuriani is the oldest Caucasian mountain resort located on the Northern slopes of the Trialeti ridge at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level. Bakuriani is 37 km away from Borjomi and 180 km - from Tbilisi. It is possible to get to Bakuriani by a shuttle bus, train or taxi.
There are many slopes of various difficulty levels for skiing and snowboarding: from short gentle slopes for children and beginners to steep black diamond ones. Slopes are equipped with lifts. There are also three ski jumps, sledding, tubing and toboggan slopes, trails for cross-country skiers, ice rinks, the Joy Land Amusement Park, and more.
The ski season is open from November to March, but in the summer, Bakuriani offers tours to Borjomi, the Tabatskuri lake, the Tavkvechili volcano, and the Borjomi National Park, as well as horseback riding, hiking, etc.
There are a few hotels and guesthouses in Bakuriani, it is also possible to rent a private house.
