The Besarion Gabashvili park is the central park of the Kutaisi town. It is located at the top of the hill. Citizens and tourists can get there by a cablecar from the city centre (the stop is near the White bridge). A beautiful view to the city and the Rioni river opens up from the cablecar.
There are some rides for children, a Ferris wheel, and a traditional Imeretian restaurant in the park.
