The Gergeti Trinity Church, Georgia

The Holy Trinity Church in the village of Gergeti, or the Gergeti Trinity Church ("Tsminda Sameba") was built in the XIV century. Today, the temple belongs to the Georgian Orthodox Church.

The church is located near the Kazbek mount, at the altitude of over 2,000 meters above sea level. The temple can be seen from the Georgian Military Road. Tourists can walk up to it on foot (it takes about an hour) or take a taxi from Stepantsminda.
