The Sarpi Beach is located in 20 km from the center of Batumi on the Georgian-Turkish border: it is possible to walk to the Turkish coast by foot (a passport is required for crossing the boarder). The 500-meter pebble beach of Sarpi is known for its clear water. Sarpi is surrounded by mountains, there are big rocks on the beach from which some tourists practice jumping into the water.
Beach equipment rental services if available there is also a cafe and a minimarket.
