Dürer Kert music venue has a family-friendly garden cafe with an outdoor grill area. In the 19th century, the Dürer Kert building was occupied by a boarding school, ran by French nuns of Sacre Coeur. In the Soviet times, the building housed a college, and in 1989 it was assigned to a prestigious Hungarian university. Today, the former gym, chapel and lecture halls are used as a music venue. Dürer Kert welcomes all kinds of music: rock, indie, hip-hop, electro trends, as well as cult figures and fresh talent from the Hungarian and international music scene.

Dürer Kert also holds cultural, life-style, and literary events, as well as movie nights, markets and open-air concerts during the summer.

For children, the Dürer Kert garden has a plastic slide, various toys, a drawing board, and an old bus, which kids can climb all over. Guests of the cafe are invited to drink fresh lemonade and try some Balkan fast food. There is also an outdoor grill area, which the Dürer Kert guests are welcome to use.
