Show on map
The Skanzen is an open-air museum and a theme park located 20 kilometers from Budapest.
It is a village with traditional peasant's houses and workshops, that are open to visitors all day long. Here children can bake bread, see how herbal teas are made, discover the working mechanism of a watermill and even fabricate some candles.
There is also a railway with an old (but working) train and a farm at the Skanzen.
Kid's birthday parties and interactive family programmes are held here.
