The Haifa Museum of Art is part of the Haifa Museums — union of the six museums and an Art Centre. The Art Museum exhibits works by Israeli and foreign artists and reveals, on the one hand, the history of Israeli culture at the beginning of the 20th century, and on the other — the place of contemporary art in the era of globalization.
The Haifa Museum of Art, one of the three largest museums in Israel, covers an area of approximately 3,500 square meters and is located on three floors. Exhibitions in the museum are replaced about three to four times a year.
In addition to the exhibition activities, the museum conducts the various lectures, creative meetings with artists, workshops for adults and children, as well as special events.
In the hall of the museum there are ticket counters, a cafe, and a souvenir shop. Various ticket discounts and benefits are available to visitors. It is also possible to buy a 7 days pass to all 6 museums of the Union.
The working week begins on Sunday in Israel. During the state holidays, the museum's opening hours may change. Please check the official website hma.og.il for more info.
