The Mané-Katz Museum resides at the Panorama Road, and overlooks the stunning landscape of the bay of Haifa. The museum opened in 1977, at the home of Mané-Katz, where the artist lived and created during the last years of his life.
In 2011, the museum was reopened to the public after a year of restoration work. The building’s overall renovations included renovating the showrooms and the foundations, adding new offices and a museum shop, and establishing a café on the balcony overlooking the Haifa bay. At the temporary exhibitions of the museum, the works of Mane-Katz himself and works from his collections, alongside the works of other artists are be presented.
The museum offers guided tours and workshops for children and adults. The museum used to be the artist's home museum, but after reconstruction it hosts temporary exhibitions and is part of the Haifa Museums Union.
During the state holidays, the museum's working hours are subject to change, please check the official website.
