The Nimrod Fortress was built in the 13th century and is located on the Southern slope of Mount Hermon, overlooking the Golan Heights. Visitors can walk in the narrow secret corridors of the fortress, look through small arrow-loops and explore old round watch-towers. Repair works in the fortress continue.
From April to September the fortress is open to visitors from 8:00 to 17:00, from October to March the working hours are 8:00 to 16:00.
