The temple of Fushimi Inari-Tais in Kyoto is dedicated to the deity of abundance and fertility. It was built at the beginning of the 8th century on the top of Mount Inariyama and is one of the main Shinto shrines of Japan. The temple is known primarily for its numerous gates, forming tunnels on the rise to the shrines.
